The discography of Japanese musical act Superfly consists of four studio albums, two compilation albums, two extended plays, five video albums and twenty-one singles. Superfly began as a musical unit formed in 2004 by vocalist Shiho Ochi and guitarist Koichi Tabo, during with Warner Music Japan in 2007. Tabo removed himself from the band's line-up in 2007 during promotional activities for their single "I Spy I Spy", finding it difficult to work as both the band's songwriter and guitarist. Tabo remained attached to Superfly, composing and producing songs for the unit. The band's song "Ai o Komete Hanataba o" (2008) was chosen to be the theme song for the Misaki Ito-starring drama ''Edison no Haha'', and became extremely successful, becoming certified Million for digital downloads by the RIAJ.〔 The band's debut album ''Superfly'' (2008) debuted at number one on Oricon's albums chart.〔 Since Superfly debuted in 2007, the unit has been successful, having six albums reach number one in Japan.〔 Other than "Ai o Komete Hanataba o", the band's most commercially successful songs include "Alright!!" (2009), the opening theme song for the drama ''Boss'',〔 and "Tamashii Revolution" (2010), a song used by NHK during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and other soccer broadcasts.
